The NBA, it’s got some seriously passionate fans, right? And two teams that really show that are the San Antonio Spurs and the Charlotte Hornets. - LaMarcus Aldridge: Aldridge, for the Spurs, totally killed it on January 10th, 2023. 32 points and 10 rebounds! Dude was on fire! Seriously impressive.
- P.J. Washington: Washington, for the Hornets, had a great game on January 24th, 2022. 25 points and 7 rebounds. He almost single-handedly won that game, I swear.
Injuries and Suspensions: A total bummer for both teams
Injuries and suspensions, they suck. Seriously.
- Dejounte Murray: Murray, from the Spurs, got a knee injury. He’s out for the rest of the season. That’s rough. Poor guy.
- Miles Bridges: Bridges, from the Hornets, got suspended for, like, a ton of games because of, well, you know… It was a really bad situation. Hope he gets help.
Coaching Changes: New blood, new strategies
Both teams had coaching changes. It’s always interesting to see how that affects things.
- Gregg Popovich: Popovich, the Spurs coach, he’s been there forever! A legend! Five NBA championships! Amazing.
- Steve Clifford: Clifford got fired from the Hornets. That’s the NBA for ya. It’s a tough business.
