Michigan State versus USC: A Giant Clash!

Gosh, what a matchup! Michigan State and USC, two huge schools. Both boast amazing academics, right? I mean, seriously impressive. But, uh, the rankings… MSU’s at #67 nationally, also #23 among public schools. USC? #15 overall, and #10 for private schools. See? Crazy good.

Their sports programs? Legendary! MSU’s Spartans, USC’s Trojans… rivalries galore! MSU won the men’s basketball championship in 2020. USC snagged theirs in 2002. Both are powerhouses, you know? It’s intense.

Research? Both spend a ton – $434 million each in 2020! Cybersecurity, AI… they’re leading the charge. It’s mind-blowing stuff. Really impressive.

Campus life? Totally different vibes. MSU’s huge – 5,200 acres! USC’s more compact, but buzzing. Lots of clubs and stuff. Both are great.

Admissions? Tougher at USC, for sure. USC’s acceptance rate is like, 11%. MSU’s higher, around 77%. But both offer aid. Lots of scholarships too.

Alumni? Wow. MSU has John Engler, a former governor! USC boasts Steve Jobs and Magic Johnson! Amazing people, right?

COVID response? Both went remote. Testing and tracing, the whole deal. They handled it. Pretty well, I’d say.

In short, both are top-tier. Choosing between them? Tough call. It really depends on what you want. It’s a tough one.
