Tennessee-born Sturgill Simpson, he’s like, a total country music legend, ya know? His sound is, like, totally eclectic – a crazy mix of country, rock, bluegrass, and Americana. Seriously, the guy’s been around for over two decades! He’s got a huge fanbase, and, like, a Grammy? Yeah, he’s got one of those. Best Country Album, even! I’m pretty jealous, tbh.

A New Chapter: The “Why Not?” Tour

In 2023, Simpson dropped his latest album under his Johnny Blue Skies name – Passage Du Desir. It’s been three years, man, felt like forever! A: It’s a French thing, means “passage of desire.” It’s about love, longing, you know, all that stuff. It’s pretty deep, actually.
