The Pokémon franchise, OMG it’s been like, a huge deal for, like, ever! Seriously, over two decades of games, anime, manga, and those crazy trading cards! It’s still totally awesome and keeps getting better, I swear! In this here article, we’ll check out the latest stuff, because, you know, Pokémon!

New Pokémon Games: A New Era Begins, I think?

The newest main Pokémon games, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, came out November 18th, 2022, on the Nintendo Switch. I got mine! Paldea is the new region, it’s pretty cool, lots of new Pokémon too! The gameplay is different, which is kinda weird but also fun. The story is, like, really good, even if I got a little lost sometimes. Seriously, so much to do!

Pokémon Legends: Arceus: A totally different adventure!

Came out January 28th, 2022. It’s in Sinnoh, and it’s, like, a total game changer. The gameplay is super different, I loved it! The story was amazing, but I cried a little, no joke. The graphics were stunning, I mean, seriously stunning. A must-play, for sure!

Pokémon Trading Card Game: Evolutions – Cards!

The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Evolutions set came out in 2022. It had new cards and stuff, I didn’t get it all, but my friend did and he was super excited. It’s cool, I guess. New cards and stuff, you know?

Pokémon TCG Online: It’s online!

The online Pokémon TCG got updated. They changed the user interface, it’s better now, I think. It’s easier to use, even for newbies like me. I still suck, though. lol.

Anime and Manga: So much to watch!

The new anime, Pokémon: Journeys, premiered in 2020, I think? It’s still going! It’s about a young trainer, it’s pretty good. I haven’t watched all of it, but it’s pretty good so far. The characters are cute, and the storylines are exciting, mostly.

Mobile Games: Gotta catch ’em all!

Pokémon Go is still a thing! They keep adding stuff, like a new “Research” system and “Community Day” events. It’s fun to play sometimes, but I get bored easily. It’s still pretty cool though.

Upcoming Events: Get ready!

The 2023 Pokémon World Championships are happening in August 2023! There’s online and in-person stuff. I really wanna go, but it’s so far away! It’ll be awesome, I bet.
