Australia Sweeps Sri Lanka, Wins 2nd Test by 9 Wickets! OMG!

So the Sri Lanka vs Australia 2nd Test, it’s over, and Australia totally smashed it! They won by like, 9 wickets. Seriously, a total wipeout. Steven Smith, their captain, must be chuffed to bits. The whole team, man, they played amazing. I mean, I was practically biting my nails the whole time!

A Dominant Performance, or, Sri Lanka got schooled.

Australia’s performance? Dominant is an understatement. They batted like gods, scoring 345 runs in their second innings, with only 9 wickets down. Like, what?! Usman Khawaja’s 74 runs and Marnus Labuschagne’s 56 were the standouts, but honestly, everyone played well. I’m so jealous of their batting skills!

Sri Lanka’s Struggles – A tough day at the office.

Poor Sri Lanka, they really struggled. The Australian pace attack was just too much. They only managed 164 runs in their second innings, losing 6 wickets. Dimuth Karunaratne and Dinesh Chandimal tried their best, scoring 54 and 46 respectively, but it wasn’t enough. Felt kinda bad for them, actually. They need to seriously up their game.

Match Statistics – The numbers don’t lie.

Here’s the kinda messy stats table, I’m not great at tables:

Team Runs Wickets Over Rate
Australia 345 9 43.4
Sri Lanka 164 6 43.4

Streaming and Broadcasting – Where to watch the next beatdown?

You could’ve watched it live on SonyLIV, or on Sony Sports Network. I watched it on my phone, it was a bit laggy, but hey, I saw the win!

Squads – The heroes and the… well, the others.

Here’s the teams, I think I got everyone… hopefully.
