In the world of American football, few names have risen as quickly as Kellen Moore’s. From his succesful college career at Boise State, to, like, his current gig as head coach of the Buffalo Bills – the guy’s a total phenom! Seriously, it’s amazing. A Coaching Career on the Rise
In January 2022, Moore made headlines when he got hired as the quarterbacks coach for the Bills. Huge deal! This was a major milestone, and he quickly proved himself, you know, a real asset to the team. I mean, who wouldn’t want him?
Fast forward to January 10th, 2023 – BAM! Moore’s career took another crazy turn. He became the new head coach, replacing Sean McDermott. At only 37, he was the youngest head coach in the NFL! Can you believe it?! I was so excited for him.
A New Era for the Buffalo Bills
Moore’s appointment as head coach? A whole new era for the Bills! With his QB coach experience and his passion for, like, totally developing young players, he’s perfectly equipped to lead them to victory. I’m rooting for him!
In April 2023, the Bills drafted C.J. Stroud, a QB from Ohio State, with the 7th pick. A bold move! Moore’s already said he wants to make Stroud a starter. It’s gonna be epic to watch!

On February 6th, 2023, the Bills announced some coaching changes. They hired Joe Judge as defensive coordinator. Moore said he’s stoked to work with Judge and build a killer defense. Sounds like a plan!
Career Highlights
Before coaching, Moore had an awesome college career at Boise State. He smashed school records for passing yards and touchdowns. He even won the WAC Player of the Year award in 2012! What a guy!
His NFL career was short-lived with the Detroit Lions, he didn’t actually play much. But hey, he transitioned to coaching, starting as an assistant at Boise State. Smart move!
