These Wildcats have been on a serious roll, man. They’ve pulled off some amazing upsets. I mean, their 66-64 win over No. 9 St. John’s on January 2nd, 2025? Mind blown! That was their first win against a top-10 team this season – they’re a force to be reckoned with, for sure! I’m still kinda shaking from the excitement.

Conference Standings: Villanova’s on Top!

As of January 10th, 2025, Villanova is, like, totally crushing it at the top of the Big East Conference standings! They’re 7-2 – amazing! Marquette’s close behind, but Villanova’s got that winning edge. So proud of their hard work! Go Cats!

Notable Performances: Players Who Are Just Awesome

Collin Gillespie, that junior guard, is a total star! He’s averaging, like, 18.5 points and 5.8 assists per game in January – insane! He’s been carrying the team, seriously. He’s definetly one to watch.

And then there’s Myles Stute, the freshman forward. He scored a career-high 25 points against Creighton on January 5th – what a game! The kid’s got potential, I’m telling ya. The future is bright!

Coaching Updates: Jay Wright’s Back!

Jay Wright, the head coach, announced on January 8th that he’s returning for the 2025-26 season! Everyone’s so happy – the fans, the players, everyone! His leadership is amazing. So glad he’s staying!

Roster News: The Future Looks Good

Villanova snagged four awesome recruits in the 2024 class, including Noah Fernandes (five-star forward!) and Tyler McCallum (four-star guard). They’re gonna be huge for the team! I’m so hyped!
