Childhood Dreams, Man!
Born September 27th, 1974, in Chicago. Ham loved basketball, always did. Played college ball at Illinois. That’s where it all began, his incredible journey. It’s a wild ride!
Player to Coach, Quick!
His NBA playing days were short, but sweet. The Lakers drafted him in ’98. He played for the Lakers, Bulls, and Raptors. Then, poof! Assistant coach for the Lakers in ’07. Crazy, right?
Coaching Success? Kinda.
Lots of promotions! He worked with legends like Phil Jackson and Mike Brown. Learned so much! Became Lakers head coach in 2022. Replaced Frank Vogel. Tough act to follow, that guy.
First Season? A Rollercoaster.
His first season? A mixed bag, man. 33-49 record. Worst in the West. But he didn’t give up! Learned a ton. Got NBA Coach of the Month in January 2023. That’s something!
