Zack Martin: An Unstoppable Force, Maybe?
Wow, what a career! Zack Martin, Dallas Cowboys legend, kinda. He’s been a beast on the gridiron for, like, forever. Seriously, the guy’s a machine. But man, those injuries. Brutal.
A Star is Born (in Pittsburgh!)
Born in ’91, Pittsburgh kid. Central Catholic High? Yeah, he was good. Texas Longhorn next. All-Big 12? Twice! Amazing. I mean, seriously amazing.
NFL Stardom, Then Cleveland?
Cowboys drafted him. Smart move. Started tons of games. A rock. Then, BAM! Cleveland Browns. Who saw that coming? Nobody, I tell ya. Nobody.
Injuries, a Contract, and Retirement Thoughts
He’s had some rough years, injury-wise. Missed the whole 2020 season. Ouch. Signed a huge contract, though. Seventy million? Dang. But then, retirement talk. He’s thinking about it. Makes sense, you know? The body takes a beating.
Awards? Plenty!
All-Big 12, twice. Pro Bowl alternate. Not bad for a guy who almost retired. He’s got a lot to be proud of. A lot.
What’s Next for Zack?
He’s considering retirement. He said so himself. “My body’s shot,” or something like that. He deserves a break. A long one. We’ll see what happens. Maybe coaching? Maybe not.
